Lawrence John Wagner

A celebration of life will be held at a later date when the family can be together.

Memorials can be made to the Davenport Public Library, The QC Botanical Center or a favorite charity.

Larry was born in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Seibert) Wagner. He was employed by 3M Company for 32 years, retiring from the 3M Cordova, Illinois Plant in 2010 as plant manager. He had a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and enjoyed listening to his Great Courses science lectures while completing a crossword puzzle. He loved golfing, fishing, reading, rooting for his favorite sports teams and escaping a cold Iowa winter on a beach in the Caribbean.

Honoring his memory are his wife Carol of 49 years, sons David from Kansas City, Missouri and Jonathan of Davenport, his sister Laura Johnson of Bluffton, South Carolina, and many family relatives and friends.
