Leonard L. Kitzmann was born on June 14, 1934, in West Bend, IA, the fourth child of Leona and Immanuel Kitzmann. He departed this life on September 3rd, 2026. He was baptized into the faith of Jesus and later confirmed that faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly of 53 years; brothers, Thomas, Eugene and Harold, and sister Natalie.
He is survived by his brother Roy; sons, Todd (Lynda) Kitzmann, Barry (Sue) Kitzmann and Kevin (Tammy) Kitzmann; eight grandchildren, Hailey Jones, Corey, Ryan, Eric, Jordan and Alexander Kitzmann, Mikayla and Nate Hulbek; and nine great grandchildren, Jayden, Addison, Charlize, Aria, Brayden, Owen, Brynn, Colton and Kamdyn Kitzmann.
Funeral service details are pending at this time. Len’s wishes were to be cremated and interred at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, IA.
