Leonard L. Kitzmann was born on June 14, 1934, in West Bend, IA, the fourth child of Leona and Immanuel Kitzmann. He departed this life on September 3rd, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 with a visitation one hour prior at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bettendorf. He was baptized into the faith of Jesus and later confirmed that faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly of 53 years; brothers, Thomas, Eugene and Harold, and sister Natalie.
He is survived by his brother Roy; sons, Todd (Lynda) Kitzmann, Barry (Sue) Kitzmann and Kevin (Tammy) Kitzmann; eight grandchildren, Hailey Jones, Corey, Ryan, Eric, Jordan and Alexander Kitzmann, Mikayla and Nate Hulbek; and nine great grandchildren, Jayden, Addison, Charlize, Aria, Brayden, Owen, Brynn, Colton and Kamdyn Kitzmann.
Len’s wishes were to be cremated and interred at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, IA.
