Linda Marie Foley, 67, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Per her requests, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
Linda was born March 22, 1948 in Moline, the daughter of Louis and Erlinda (Valle) Belman. She was united in marriage to Michael Foley who preceded her in death.
She worked as a postal carrier for 38 years, retiring on September 30, 2008.
Survivors include her son, Sean Foley, Davenport; granddaughter, Lillian Hanna Wingate, Davenport; siblings: Cecelia Belman, East Moline; Rose (Francisco) Pena, Silvis; Richard Belman, Calif.; Karen (Carlos) Martel, Albuquerque, NM; Teresa (Jim) Pierce, Cordova, IL; Sharon (Roger) Remour, Hillsdale, IL; Arthur (Vickie) Belman, East Moline; Audrey (Jay) Ross, Davenport; Felecia (Gary) Carlson, Lynn Center, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Michael and Louis Belman.
