Linda Lee Sievertsen

Services to celebrate the life of Linda L. (Christiansen) Sievertsen, 66, of Bettendorf, will be 10:30 am on Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will greet friends on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Mortuary.Linda passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.Linda Lee Christiansen was born in Dixon, IL, on February 27, 1949 to Charles and Martha (Fairfield) Christiansen. Linda graduated Davenport West High School in 1967 and from Scott Community College and began working for the college in 1991. She retired from Scott Community College, February of 2004. She married Jerry Sievertsen, her soul mate, and the love of her life in Bettendorf, July of 1987.She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, traveling and golfing with her golf buddies, Judy James, Pat Weir and LuAnn Mumey. She taught Junior High Sunday school in the early 80’s at Thomas Road Baptist Temple in Phoenix, AZ.Survivors include her husband, Jerry, daughters; Mary (Michael) Simmons, Bettendorf, IA, Jill (Michael) Jones, Buford, GA, Angela (Kevin) Hensley, Wappapello, MO, sons: Scott Bohannan and his wife Karry, Davenport, IA, Todd Lorenz and his wife Veronica, Peoria, AZ, Rickie Bohannan and his soul mate Susan Schroeder, Dallas, TX, Gary Sievertsen, Atlanta, GA, son-in-law; Ross Ohland, Davenport, IA, sisters; Joanne Glover, Phoenix, AZ, Marsha (Patrick) Bowe, Boise, ID, Dorothy (Doyle) Stark Jr., Davenport, IA, Sharon (Oscar) Rios, Davenport, IA, Marita (David) Irvine, Galva, IL, 23 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, too many nieces and nephews to mention, and very special friends, Judy Rizzo and Sandee Witt.She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Christiansen, her mother, Martha Christiansen, step-father, Marvin, sister, Shirley Daily and step-brother, Monte.
