

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory at 2pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made in Lisa’s name to Empowering Abilities or St. Mark Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rungemortuary.com.
Lisa was born on December 22, 1965, in Cabool Missouri to Douglas and Linda (Albright) Wescom. She was a 1985 graduate of West High School. Lisa enjoyed country music, watching the Hawkeyes and St. Louis Cardinals, the Mississippi Valley Fair, going to church, volunteering, Bible study but most of all she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was also an active volunteer at church and at Empowering Abilities. Lisa collected People magazines, CDs and she loved candles. Most of all, Lisa loved her family and friends. She will be missed by all that loved and knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Douglas Sr. And Linda; brothers, Doug Jr (Melanie) Wescom, Jim (Amy) Wescom; ex sister-in-law and mother of Carley, Drew and Joe, Sharon Wescom; nieces, Carley (Josh Fisher) Wescom, Abby Wescom; nephew, Drew (Natalie) Wescom; Joe Wescom; great nephews, Liam, Theo, Bentley, Jaden; great nieces, Elowyn; special aunt, Vicki Lay; significant other of 40 years, Phil Loerzel; special friends, Tracy, Heidi, Diane, Sue and Nancy. Lisa is also survived by her canine cuddle buddy, Benji.
Lisa is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roy and Marian Wescom and maternal grandparents, Bill Albright and Vila Williams.
The family would like to thank the staff at Empowering Abilities, her church family and folks at coffee hour for the years of love and support they received.
