Lu Anne Jane Lopez

LuAnne J. Lopez, 60 of Davenport passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was born on February 16, 1955 in Davenport, IA the daughter of Lyle and June (Meyer) Wiese. LuAnne was united in marriage to Michael Lopez on February 9, 1978 in Las Vegas, NV. She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal after 34 years of service. She enjoyed golfing, going to the casino, bowling and spending time with friends and family. LuAnne was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. Those left to honor her memory are her loving husband of 37 years, Michael; sister, Cindy Johnson (Michael Turner); brother, Steve (Terry) Wiese; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Society and Genesis Hospice for their care and support.
