Lucille “Lucy” A. Fisher, 84, of Davenport passed away, January 7, 2012, at St. Mary’s Nursing Center. Private family services will be held Thursday, January 12, 2012 at The Runge Mortuary, with burial at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.TheRungeMortuary.com
Lucy was born July 14, 1927, the daughter of Warren and Martha (Thomsen) Fisher. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1947. Lucy was a nurse’s aide at the old Mercy Hospital, and also worked as a cemetery superintendent for numerous National Cemeteries. She retired in May 1989.
Lucy enjoyed golfing with friends and family. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Mohassan Caldron #2.
Those left to honor her memory include her twin sister Lois M. Arp, sister-in-law Pauline Fisher, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
