

Lucy Virginia Bourn, 91, of Davenport passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus after fighting a courageous battle with her family by her side. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 9, 2010 7:00 p.m. with visitation Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at The Runge Mortuary and Crematory. Cremation rites will be accorded. Lucy was born May 11, 1919 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Claude Bourn 1940 in Missouri. He preceded her in death May 10, 1980.
She worked for at Nichols Aluminum, then worked for 18 years at Peterson’s Harned Von Maur, retiring with her husband to Missouri.
She was a member of Eagles Club, Davenport, American Legion Auxilliary, Missouri.
Lucy loved to fish, camp, boat ride, music and dancing. She was a huge sports fan, especially fond of the Laker’s and Cub’s.
Lucy cherished the time she spent with her family, and her old friends from Carole’s Tap.
She is survived by sons, Rod (Peggy) Bourn, Rick (Robin) Bourn, and daughter, Lucene Joyce ( Mark) Mitchell; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter-in-law, Jeanne Bourn.
