Lynda Joy McConnell

Lynda J. McConnell, 66, of Colona, IL passed away April 27, 2017, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, May 5, 2017 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 10 am until service time, Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Lynda was born July 16, 1950 in Davenport, a daughter of Howard (Sr.) and Ruth (Durbin) Linnabery. She married Richard G. McConnell in 1993 in Hampton, IL. She was a member of the Rock Island Elks Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; children: Lisa Kay Lopez, Loren William Jasper, Lynn Marie Cape; stepchildren: Scott and Chad McConnell; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings: Ann (Will) Dion, Bud (Maureen) Linnabery, Wayne (Cindy) Linnabery, Tana (Stu) Ocker, Nina Brooks, Cheryl Brooks, Michael Brooks; special cousin Teri Linnabery-Logan; special friends: Dorothy Lindsey, Sharon Fisher, Cindy Gibson and Sandy McFarland and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Larry Edwards and a sister, Jane Marie Hamilton.
