Private family graveside services for Lynn Kay Day, 62, of Davenport will take place at a later date at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.Lynn passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.Lynn Kay Cloe was born on December 29, 1952 in Davenport, the daughter of Darwin and Elinor (Jones) Cloe. She married Bill Day on May 1, 1978 in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1985.Lynn worked at the Handicapped Development Residential Center as a caregiver since it opened in 1986. In addition to loving to spend time with her family, she enjoyed quilting, gardening and shopping for antiques. Survivors include her sisters; Karen (Mike) Zelski of Clearwater, FL, Wendy Cloe of Centennial, CO, Paula (Ed) Post of Blue Grass, IA; brother; Gary (Karen) Cloe of The Villages, FL., many special nieces and nephews, she is also survived by her extended family including her fellow workers and residence of the Handicapped Development Residential Center, Davenport.She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.Memorials may be made to the Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center, Davenport.Remembrances and condolences may be made to the family at www.cunnick-collins.com.
