Teri and and family,

I learned from Carol Bovee today about Madison's sad death at such a young age. Please know that you are in my prayers. I wasn't in Bettendorf at the time of her funeral, as my wife and I had just moved to Duluth, Minnesota, where our daughter and her family live. May God bless, comfort, and strengthen you through this difficult time.

Deepest sympathy to family extended. Although I really did not know Madi personally I feel like I know enough about her through all her accomplishments shared to know she was a courageous and spirited soul. What a fighter and what lessons she leaves behind for others. She made her mark in this world in such a short time and her legacy will live on. Take care and remember it ok to smile and laugh through the tears too. She would likely want and expect that.

It is with heavy heart I send this message of deepest sympathy in this your time of grief and sorrow. Words do not take pain away but I hope the love that friends and family surround you with are a comfort and strength. I was the counselor at Wilson when Madison was in elementary. What I remember the most about her is how soft spoken, kind , and caring she was to everyone- a beautiful young lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!!
