I am so sorry to read of Margaret's passing. I have lots of wonderful memories of many high school classes with Margaret as I, too, took the Normal Training classes offered at Davenport High. I, too, became a teacher in a one-room school so we saw each other fairly frequently for several years.
I went on to doing subbing after my children were in school and went back to teaching full time while getting my degree going to evening and summer classes at Marycrest College.
The students who took those teacher training classes were a close knit group as there were only about a dozen of us. Besides, I was also a Donahue gal as my parents lived just over the hill south of town, and as I recall Margaret lived north of town.
Margaret was a great gal and we always had a good visit whenever we happened to run into each other, but I haven't seen her for years now.
My most sincere condolences to you in her family. I know you have lots of memories to treasure of a great Mom.
God's Peace be with you all.
