Margaret “Maggie” K. McDonald, 65, of Davenport passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. on Wednesday, July 19 at The Runge Mortuary. Maggie was born a daughter of William and Margaret (McKenzie) Root on November 27, 1951 in Newport N.H. She was united in marriage to Michael McDonald on September 29, 1996 in Blue Grass. Maggie retired from The Rock Island Arsenal after 32 years of service. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, taking care of her plants, camping, traveling on the train, and especially the river cruise she took with her husband. Those cherishing her memory include her loving husband, Michael and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters.
