Margaret J. Osborn

Services for her will be on Friday, September 6, 2024 at noon, at The Runge Mortuary & Crematory. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Her final resting place will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may go to the family or St. Croix Hospice. Condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Margaret was born August 7, 1934 in Donahue, IA. She was the daughter of Elmer and Helen (Fee) Daily. On November 10, 1951, she married George Osborn in Davenport. He passed away on September 7, 1998. In earlier years, Margaret and her husband owned Marg’s Bait Shop. She also enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and especially playing cards with her sisters. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #235 of Davenport.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons: William (Linda) Osborn, Davenport, Danny L. (Trudy) Osborn, Stockton, IA and George A. (Pam) Osborn, Donahue, IA; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Steve and Jim Daily, both of Davenport, sisters: Ethel “Tuffy” Daily, Davenport, Carol (Tom) Pickett, Blue Grass and Jinx Allen, Davenport; special loved ones: Erik Bollman and Amanda Tordal along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a brothers, Richard and Harvey and sisters, Anna and Lela.
