Margrett L. Mallinger

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Legacy Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. She will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Margrett was born on November 29, 1936 to Leo and Lula (Brown) Crawford in Newton, Missouri. She was employed at Mercy/Genesis Hospital for over 33 years before retiring.

Margrett enjoyed reading, keeping in touch on Facebook, socializing and holidays where everyone would get together. She was a natural caregiver and loved her grandchildren. She had a special bond with her granddaughter, Kayleen. They were very active in church, Awana, and loved to go eat around their church activities.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Brian (Dawn) Crawford; granddaughter, Kayleen Mallinger; granddaughters, Danielle and Megan Crawford; grandsons, Christopher and Jonathan; sister, Beverly Johnston; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Kimberley Rae Mallinger; brothers, Gene (Shirley) Crawford, Leland (Yolanda) Crawford and Kenneth Crawford; and sisters, Berniece (Lonnie) Dover and Dorothy Lawter.
