Marian J. Carson

She passed at home surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services will be held on February 5, 2025, at 12pm at Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Marian and her twin sister Molly were born on Nov 14, 1939 in Davenport, IA to Henry and Wilma Kuehl. On February 12, 1972, she was united in marriage to Rick Carson. They enjoyed 52, almost 53 years of marriage. She retired from Wonder Bread in 1994 after 30 years. Marian loved her family immensely and having them over for dinner and holidays. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandma. She especially enjoyed the holidays, from decorating the inside and outside to having all of her family over to enjoy them with her. She also greatly enjoyed going to the stock car races to watch her husband Rick and her son Henry race on the weekends.

Marian was all about family and taking care of them, she was incredibly close with them and just recently was able to add the title of great grandma to her list. She will be greatly missed by all, but especially her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband; her children, Dave Carson, Henry (Julie) Carson; siblings Marilyn “Molly” Kuehl, Les (Sue) Kuehl; sister in-law Joyce Kuehl; grandchildren, Dylan and Austin Carson; great granddaughter Haizley and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded her in death were her parents Henry and Wilma Kuehl and her brother Wesley Kuehl
