Marian I. Ingraham, 95, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Senior Star at Elmore Place. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Weerts Funeral Home; visitation will be before the service starting at 9:00 am. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery following the service. Memorials in Marian's name may be made to Family Resources: Domestic Violence.
Marian was born on August 18, 1928 to Jess and Beatrice Hicks in Ramsey, Illinois. Following high school, Marian received her teaching certificate so that she could teach children during World War II. Marian also worked as a hairdresser and real estate agent before working for the United States Army as a Industrial Specialist; she retired in 1990 after 35 years of working for the government. Marian was united in marriage to David Ingraham on September 30, 1972. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church, the Moose Club, and the Hummel Club where she was an avid collector. Marian enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her friends. She enjoyed her winter home with Dave in Cape Coral, Florida. Marian also enjoyed going to various craft shows and spending time with her family.
Those left to honor her memory are her daughter Susan Pauli; step-children David Ingraham, Jr., Robert Ingraham, and Patricia Ingraham-Carson; grandchildren Michael Pauli and Skye Davis; great-grandchildren Henry, Elijah, Lindsey, and Emma; her sisters Evelyn Hanneken and Nola Sanders; and nieces Deborah (Chuck), Patricia (Tom), Jeanette (Mark), Monica (Chris), and Ramona (Patrick).
She was preceded in death by her husband Dave; son Randall Davis, niece Gail Sanders, and her parents.
