Marie Bernice Miller

Marie B. Miller, 86, of Davenport, passed away, Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Bettendorf First Assembly of God. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6 pm at the church. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.

Marie was born May 4, 1927 in Detroit, MI; a daughter of Albert and Pauline (Reposzenko) Koval. On January 6, 1951, she married Lewis J. Miller in Detroit, MI; he preceded her in death on May 8, 2002. Mrs. Miller was a fabulous homemaker, who had a servant’s heart always welcoming everyone into her home. She knew no strangers. She attended Bettendorf First Assembly of God. Her hobbies included baking and cooking. Survivors include her children and spouses: Stan and Sandy Miller, LeClaire, IA; Michael and Carol Miller, Davenport and Patty and Gordon Kennedy, Bolingbrook, IL; grandchildren: Brian, Brad, Michael, Amanda, Dawn, Shawna and Paige; fourteen great grandchildren; and a sister, Estelle.
