Marilyn L. Boldt

Marilyn L. Boldt, 91, of Crossville, TN, formerly of Davenport, IA, passed away on September 17, 2014 at the Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, TN. There will be no visitation at this time. Memorial services and burial will be held in the spring of 2015 at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements. Marilyn Lucille Mayo was born on January 5, 1923 to Claude and Lucille (Keyes) Mayo, and was one of eleven children. On August 21st, 1940 she married Robert C. Boldt in Dubuque, Iowa. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed greatly. She is survived by 4 daughters: Patricia (Mike) Russell of St. Louis, MO; Jo Ann Leir of Reston,VA; Carol (Edward) Ehrecke of Bettendorf, IA; Jacque (Art) Vallem of Crossville,TN; 2 sons: Thomas (Betsy) Boldt of Philadelphia, PA and Peter Boldt of Bakersville, CA; twenty-three grandchildren: Susan Russell, Michael Russell, Angela Walker, Bradley DeSplinter, Robert DeSplinter, Karen Garcia, Mary Leir, Martin Leir, Tim Ehrecke, Steve Ehrecke, Todd Ehrecke, Mindy Boldt, Kimberly Boldt, Jennifer Boldt, Matt Boldt, Lynne Waterman, Chris Vallem, Taylor Boldt, Austin Boldt, Emily Boldt, John Boldt, Joe Boldt, Sara Boldt; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, all of her siblings, a daughter Barbara DeSplinter and son Michael Boldt.Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
