Marjorie L. Haas, 93, of Davenport passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her immediate family. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be held Thursday February 16, 2017 from 4-6pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Davenport Humane Society. Online condolences can be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Marjorie was born on November 29, 1923 in Belvidere, IL to George F. and Leona O. (Johnson) Davidson. She graduated from Davenport High School where she was voted Honorary LT. Colonel for ROTC. She retired from Reynolds MFG after 20 years as a secretary. She was a devoted mother to Michael C. (Sandra) Haas of Dacula, GA and Cheryl L (Haas) Holden, Davenport, IA and grandmother to Brock E. (Jana) Motley, Davenport, Brandon (Veronica) Haas, Stafford, VA, Phoenix (Larry) Tyler, Lawrenceville, GA and Lindsay Haas, Loganville, GA; great-grandchildren: Nathan, Joshua, and Isabella Motley, Kaitlin and Parker Oliver and Maddox and Jason Haas. Marjorie lived a full life and was loved and admired by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
