Mark Goodwin

Mark was born on January 3, 1978, to Thomas and Linda (Richarz) Goodwin in Davenport, IA. He was a graduate of North Scott High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Augustana College, then his master’s from Western Illinois University. He spent numerous years in the education and safety fields.

Mark was a loving father who cherished spending time with his family. He played football in college and later enjoyed coaching his children in baseball and watching their games. He liked hunting and especially fishing, alot.

Those left honoring his memory include his children, Carter (Abby) Goodwin and Lane Goodwin; granddaughter, Jocelyn Goodwin; father, Thomas Goodwin; brother, Matt (Dawn) Goodwin; and his niece and nephew, Adalyn and Jack Goodwin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Goodwin; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
