Marlene White, 81, of Blue Grass, IA passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospitals Iowa City, IA. Cremation will be done with private family services to be held. Burial will take place in Blue Grass Cemetery, Blue Grass, IA. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Davenport, IA or QC Paws 4001 78th Avenue Moline, IL. Marlene was born August 21, 1941 in Rock Island, IL to George & Helen (Boldt) Hiesterman. She had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal retiring January 31, 1994.
Survivors include her son Chris (Jessica) White, Geneseo, IL; brother Donald (Barbara) Hiesterman; and special nieces Becky & Angela.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents William (Mary) Hiesterman and George (Emma) Boldt, and a niece Melissa Wilcox.
