 Jack Lambrecht (Dad) was a strong, tenacious, persistent and personable optimist! These traits served him well throughout his long life. He served in the Navy during the Korean conflict on the USS Bennington (an aircraft carrier) and he was among those who survived an explosion and subsequent fire aboard the ship. Dad was a stellar sales person, winning many awards throughout his career. His two top sales phrases “shoot where the ducks are” and “plan your work and work your plan”.  I still think about that advice often in my own sales career. He also put these traits to good use while perfecting his golf game. As a young man he was a scratch golfer! He loved all sports but Golf was his personal passion! Legend has it that there were a few “side missions ”  in the Navy where Dad was invited by “Top Brass” as their golf ringer in tournaments. He later was on the golf team at Saint Ambrose University where he graduated. Dad I hope you’re up there golfing the perfect game! As your legacy,  I’ll continue on those with those traits and just for you I’ll resurrect my golf game, I know that would make you extremely happy❤️ RIP Dad

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."

I am so very sorry for your loss Gen.   
 Jack loved you more than any words could ever express.  He told me many times how you were his everything and more.

Really enjoyed my husband I'm visiting in July 2014.  You showed us such a nice time, took us to the In N Out.  Enjoyed  a hot game of Mexican Dominoes, as Gen still had a group over to play.  I remember the good memories as a child of Fejuvary Park, Monkey Island & Mother Goose land.  The trips to Chicago to see the Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Natural History, Museum of Science & Industry & the Brrokfield Zoo.  Wonderful memories of family time.

God broke my heart on the 14th day of December, 2021 to prove he only takes the very best. You were always so loving and generous to myself, my family and others. I enjoyed the 48 years we had together. I will always love you!

I will cherish all you did for me and our family,
