Mary Patricia Doyle, 53, of Bettendorf, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in East Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the church. Mary was born on September 25, 1958 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Jeremiah J. and Dorothy (Mooney) Doyle.
She came to the Quad Cities in 1979 and was a very devout member of the church. She had a warm personality and was a special daughter and a very caring person. She gave a lot of service to people and had many friends and co-workers. She was employed at Wal-Mart for 14 years.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Horst, Bettendorf; sister, Dawn Holst and brother-in-law, Maurice Holst, Bettendorf; uncle, Carl (Mary Rose) Mooney, Michigan; and many friends.
