Mary Ann Lopez, 69, of LeClaire, IA died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Home in Davenport. Per her request, cremation rites were accorded. There will be no services. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com
Mary was born June 3, 1943 in Davenport, the daughter of Ralph & Dolly Sterling. She married John C. Lopez in 1974 in Missouri.
Mary loved yardwork, gardening, reading and was an avid Democrat. She also enjoyed watching CSPAN.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, John, LeClaire; sons: John J. (Jessica) Lopez, Overgaard, AZ and Richard Pena, Davenport and a special friend, Birdie, SC. Her parents and brothers: Carroll “Deke”, Dick and Ralph “Boots” preceded her in death.
