Davenport, IA Funeral services for Mary “Kathy” Pitcher, age 60, of Davenport, IA will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2009 at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. Interment will follow at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. Mrs. Pitcher died on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center - West Campus in Davenport.Mary Kathleen Howard was born in Iowa City, IA on May 19, 1949, the daughter of Doris and Irene (Smith) Howard. On September 10, 1969, she married Larry Pitcher in Davenport, IA. She is survived by her Husband: Larry Pitcher of Davenport, IA; five Daughters: Kimberly Edwards of Huntsville, AL, Betty (Archie) Houk of Davenport, IA, Danniel Shrum of Davenport, IA, Tammy (Fernando) Velazquez of Davenport, IA; Sabrina (Billy) Harman of Davenport, a Son: Larry (Pattie) Pitcher, Jr. of Bellvue, NE; two Sisters: Bonnie Crisp and Christine Abbott both of Davenport, IA; a Brother: Joe Howard of Davenport, IA; 23 Grandchildren; 13 Great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by a Son: Todd Decker; a Sister: Esther McFadden; and a Step-father: Patrick Agnew.
