Maxine M. Rayburn

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel with a visitation one hour prior. She will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park.

Maxine was born on January 14, 1945 to Edward and Harriett (Bush) Wilsey in Davenport, IA. She was united in marriage to Jackie Rayburn on September 9, 1961. She worked for many years as an elevator operator. Maxine was a wonderful woman who loved her family and the time spent with them. She also enjoyed coloring, playing bingo and computer games. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Jack; son, Alvin Rayburn; sister, “Flossy” Moss; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jack Rayburn Jr.; four sisters; and two brothers.
