Michael Allen Buckley

Michael A. “Bucky” Buckley 65, of Buffalo, Iowa passed away in the comfort of his home Wednesday, December 31, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026 in The Runge Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Mike was born March 15, 1960 in Davenport, Iowa to Ralph and Lorraine (Fey) Buckley. He was united in marriage to Susan Kilker on June 30, 1978 in Davenport.

He retired from the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 25 after many years of service, where he was also a part time apprentice instructor.

Mike loved his family dearly and enjoyed working on his family farm taking care of the livestock and baling hay. He was also in 4-H during his younger years showing cattle.

Those honoring his memory include his daughter, Shaylynn (Calvin) Blessington; siblings, Darla Hamilton (the late Winston), Jim (Janine) Buckley, and Chuck (Tanya) Buckley; grandchildren, James, Gavon, Lahna, and Gabe; nieces and nephews, Keli Brown, Kory Buckley, Jessica Vandestadt, and Annette Martinez. And Katie Kiely.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Michael Ralph and James Charles Buckley; granddaughter, Kaylin Blessington and his niece Kari Buckley. The family would like to thank ST. Croix Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
