Michael Norman Mohr

Michael Norman Mohr, 68, of Eldridge, Iowa passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 unexpectedly while working. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Eldridge. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at the Runge Mortuary. There will be a private burial where he will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park. He was born on July 25, 1953 to Norman and Inez (Roehlk) Mohr in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from North Scott High School in 1971 and went on to attend St. Ambrose University. He was united in marriage to Kristina Griggs, on February 2, 1991 in Eldridge, Iowa.

Out of high school, he worked for Wayne Ernst as a well driller, then White Roofing, and for the last 8-9 years self-employed cleaning gutters, residential snow removal, and roof repairs. He had built up a clientele that he loved taking care of as he often went the extra mile to ensure they knew they mattered.

He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and the QWC Rugby Club. He loved the Cubs, Hawkeyes, to play and watch sports, but most of all he loved his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Kristina Mohr; sons, Jon (Rachel) and Joey; sisters, Linda (Raymond) Dykstra and Diane (Bob) Oster; brothers, Brian (Tiffin) Mohr and Gregg Mohr; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Susan Griggs, Rhonda Griggs, Jerrie and Jill Griggs, Kelley and Jeff Haycraft, Kathy Griggs; mother and father-in-law, Karen and Larry Breeding; 22 nieces and nephews; 33 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great nieces.
