

Michaela Rose Duvall, 20, of Davenport passed into Eternal Life on May 29, 2015. Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Runge Mortuary in Davenport from 3-7 pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6 at Brady Street Stadium, starting at 3 pm. Michaela was born March 30, 1995 and was placed in the arms of her loving parents on April 1, 1995, who then brought her home to Iowa. She was their miracle baby!
As a child in Urbandale, Iowa she was active in gymnastics, soccer and softball. She loved to swim at Gramma and Grampa Duvall’s pool. She loved all the time with her friends.
After moving to Davenport, she attended Sudlow Intermediate. She started volleyball, track, vocal music and continued playing soccer. She made many great friends and was usually with some of them somewhere. At Central High School she was actively involved in track, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, as well as yearbook and student council. High school highlights included dances, sporting events and all the social “friend” events. Her track accomplishments included qualifying for the Drake Relays and Iowa State Track Championships.
After graduation she attended Iowa State University for one year and transferred to Iowa Western Community College. While there, she made the Presidents Honor Roll for the fall of 2014 semester. She was a member of the Reivers Track Team and competed in the Indoor National
Championships. In the outdoor season she finished with personal records in the 100 and 400 hurdles.
She worked as a sales associate at Charlotte Russe in Davenport.
Survivors include her parents Max and Lauri, Gramma Theone Duvall, Grammy and Gramps (Velma and Keith) Mills, an aunt, two uncles, five cousins and their families. She was preceded in death by her Grampa George Duvall.
