Mildred "Millie" Alene Allison

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, with visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m. The burial will be following the service at Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport. Millie was born in Green Castle, MO, on May 16, 1921 to parents, Bertha Miller and Hollis Hamilton. She was married to Arthur Scriven until his passing in 1978. They had three children: Tom, Anita, and Hollis. She was later married to Robert Allison until his passing in 1989.

Millie had a career in sewing for Davenshires and Sears Manufacturing. She later worked in the family business, Planetary Corporation. She was a member of Faith First Community Church and CASI Senior Center. She had a passion for dancing, gardening, and socializing with friends.

She was preceded in death by her three children, Thomas Scriven, Anita Watkins and Hollis Scriven; along with grandson, Mark Scriven; and great grandson, Jason Scriven.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Scott Scriven, Mary Watkins, John Watkins, Gina Watkins, Bill Watkins, Julie Scriven Cavazos, Robin Hirsch, and Ryan Scriven; as well as 19 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
