Mindy J. Eyre

Mindy J. Eyre, 53, of Bettendorf, IA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 29, 2021, after a courageous battle with ALS.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Caddy's Sports Bar & Grill on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Memorials may be made to her children for their education.

Mindy was born on July 30, 1967, to Irvin and Dorothy (Bennett) Eyre in Philadelphia, PA. She worked as a provider advocate at United Healthcare for over 20 years. Mindy was known as a strong woman to all who knew her. She was a devoted mother who gave her all raising her 3 children. Her children meant everything to her and gave her a sense of great pride. Whenever she had free time she liked to work out, attend concerts with friends, and spend time with her family.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children, Kyle (Teah Orozco) Maly, Cassie Maly, and Jessica Maly all of Bettendorf, IA; her mother, Dorothy Eyre; sister, Missy (Kevin) Brooks: brothers, Mark Eyre and Devin (Elizabeth) Eyre; nephews, Chris, Tommy, and Steve: and niece, Jasmine. She was preceded in death by her father, Irvin Eyre; and the father of her children, Kenneth Maly.

I had the pleasure of working with Mindy for many years. We got to spend time in Florida together several years ago and I enjoyed getting to know her. We were reunited on a team together prior to her leaving, she will be very missed by her UHC family. Condolences to her children and family. Cheryl H
