Nancy L. Bents

She was born in Davenport on January 3, 1949, to Robert and Lucille (Cook) Neilson. She worked as a CNA for the Rock Island County Nursing Home and later for Bettendorf Health Care prior to her retirement. Nancy also provided in-home health care for many years.

Nancy loved the outdoors and greatly enjoyed fishing and camping on the Wapsi, watching horror movies, playing bingo and going to thrift stores and flea markets. She was opinionated but had a good sense of humor to go with it. She was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Keith.

She married Thomas Bents in Davenport, he preceded her in death on July 3, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Keith Willhite, LeClaire and his former wife, Nancy, Bettendorf; and Cindi Morthland, Hampton, IL; grandchildren: Augustin Willhite, Bettendorf, Savannah, and Jill Bratcher; several great grandchildren and two siblings. Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
