Nancy C. Hitchcock

Nancy Block – Hitchcock, 65, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 06, 2016. A memorial service will be held 2 pm on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. All are welcome to a luncheon from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Lulac Club, Davenport. Visitation will be held 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday October 11, 2016 at the Runge Mortruary. Nancy was born on November 19, 1950 the daughter of William F. and Anna (Hass) Block. She was united in marriage to Steve Hitchcock on September 13, 1988 in Dodgeville, WI.

Nancy was a retired barber. She loved her horses, disco music, Halloween, dancing and singing, the sun, vacationing in Mexico and laying in the pool.

She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren around the farm.

Those celebrating her life include her loving husband of 28 years, Steve; her children, Angela Reyes; Tom (Shelly) Fritz; Valerie (Patrick) Widmeyer; Bethany (Andrew) Bair. Grandchildren: Sam, Jessica, Tiffany, Hannah, Keegan, Dalton, Madison, Logan. Two sisters: Ruth Brown and Dottie Emfinger. Several nieces and nephews, a special niece Tami and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Tom and Donnie.
