Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory Davenport, IA. The family will begin greeting friends at 12:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at The Runge Mortuary. Burial will follow in Davenport Memorial Park.
Nancy was born February 12, 1946, in Clinton, IA, to Louis & Golda (Sanger) Ray.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth Pingel on November 18, 1967, in Lost Nation, IA.
Nancy had worked in the Bettendorf Schools Food Services for 19 years prior to her retirement in 2002.
Nancy & Ken loved wintering in Alamo, TX. Earlier in life she enjoyed bowling, was an Iowa sports fan, cheered for the Chicago Cubs, and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities.
Survivors include her husband Ken Pingel; 3 sons Lee, Kevin, & Mark (Annette) Pingel; 7 grandchildren Alexis, Kris (Jennifer), Amanda (Darron), Jacqueline, Sarah (Tyler), Jessica, and Mitchell; and 13 great grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
