Nicholas S. Hurlburt

Nicholas Scott Hurlburt went to heaven on March 19, 2020. He was born on September 30, 1987 in Des Moines, IA. He is the son of Daniel Hurlburt and Teresa (Teri) Phillips. Nick was 32 and lived in Davenport, IA.

He married Morgan Lowe October 2, 2019 in Davenport. He was employed at Sterilite Plastics Company in Davenport, as a Machine Mechanic.

He is survived by wife; Morgan Hurlburt, his 3 children; Myles, Devin and Dalilah, father; Dan Hurlburt (Valrico, FL), mom and stepdad; Teri and Tim Phillips (Davenport, IA), sister; Amber Gloyd (Delaware, OH), brothers; Dustin (Davenport, IA) and Christopher (Pana, IL) Hurlburt, maternal grandmother; Marlene Nash (Murray, IA), aunts. uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nick was a hard working and loving man, who displayed his love in things he did; from fishing, playing his guitar, listening to music and cooking. He was a die hard Cubs fan and a practical joker, who could always be counted on for bringing humor into your life. Nick's passion for life was never more evident than the love he had for his family, and the love he gave to all, will be a testimony to his giving and true spirit. Nick will be deeply and forever missed.

A private family gathering was held March 26, 2020 (3-5p.m.) at Cunnick & Collins Mortuary & Cremation in Davenport, IA. A Celebration of Nick's Life will be held at a later date.
