Norma J. Schmidt

Norma J. Schmidt, 67, of Princeton IA., formerly of Andrew IA., was called to tend God’ s garden on Friday, September 26, 2014 with her loving family by her side. Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded with a Celebration of Life service at a later date.

Norma was born July 3,

1947 , in Clinton, IA. The daughter of Vincent and Virginia (Green) Kremer. She was united in marriage to Roger Schmidt June 23, 1999 in Rock Island, IL.

She graduated from the Andrew School system. She was employed by Clinton Engines, Maquoketa and later Eagle Signal, Davenport.

Norma loved flower and vegetable gardening as well as cooking and baking. She was a little firecracker who loved conversing.

Survivors include her loving husband Roger of 15 years, children, Ron (Amy) Benhart, Bevin(Crystal) Benhart; stepson Dave (Holly) Schmidt;siblings, Marlene Sieck, Galen (Sue) Kremer, Dean Kremer, Barbara (Rick) Thole, and Roger (Marilyn) Kremer; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Dennis.
