Sad to say, that I just found out a couple of months ago that Opal passed away. I just found her obituary. She will be missed. She was a kind gentle soul. We got together a few times over the years and talked genealogy. Her mom and my dads father were brother and sister so she was my dads first cousin.

I am so saddened to learn of Opal's passing. She worked for my grandmother as a housekeeper for decades, and always played with me when I was little. She was a true blessing to our family when my grandmother started to decline in health, and we could never repay her for the friendship and care she showed.. She was a dear, sweet lady, and I am grateful to have had her in my life.

I may not of known Opal very well but my older siblings did (Kane Family) I do remember her always being a very friendly, out going lady that loved her family. Joe and Laurie Carpio send our deepest condolences to Kevin Bullis which we know very well. So sorry for your loss and she will be greatly missed may she rest in peace.
