Ora "Nonnie" Jane Olson

Ora Jane "Nonnie" Olson, 93, of Davenport, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at Manor Care Utica Ridge, Davenport. Services in celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 26, at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport, with Pastor Kurt Larson officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Friday until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Nonnie was born in Ong, Nebraska, in 1924. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Stanley "Swede" Olson, on November 24, 1946. They lived in Omaha, Nebraska for 60 years before moving to Bettendorf to be with her daughter and grandchildren.

Nonnie will be deeply missed by her daughter, Jackie (Alan) Krager; her grandsons, Jeffrey (Nadine) Krager and Justin (Danielle) Krager; and great-grandchildren, Casey, Cooper, Brady and Kamryn Krager. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Stan Olson.
