Pam was born on March 7, 1955, to Robert Lee and Lola Jean Wold. She graduated from West High School in Davenport. She married her high school sweetheart, Elbert, on August 25, 1973. Pam was lovingly known as “Nana” to all the children who came into her care. She loved caring for newborns, which she enjoyed for over 35 years. Pam loved craft projects, sewing and crochet. She was an avid reader. She also enjoyed playing bingo every night that ended in a “Y”. Her license plate even read “ILVBNGO.” Her family is comforted with the fact that they are reunited and the two “Nana’s” are now together in Heaven playing BINGO. What really made Pam happy was caring for others. Her life revolved around her family and children. “Nana” was always able to make kids believe in magic. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Elbert; one son, Robert (Elizabeth) Willis of Eldridge; Jeannie Miller (Dan Snyder) of Davenport; Jamie (Jason) Collier, of Durant; father, Robert Wold of Bettendorf; grandchildren Natalie, Jacob, Lucas, Morgan, Taylor, Emily, Kaitlyn, Leola “Lili”, and Owen; and sister Robin (Bobalou) Thune. Those preceding her in death are her mother, Lola Jean Wold, and a brother, Robert “Willy” Wold.
