Patricia A. Benisch, 79, of Davenport passed away July 31, 2011 at her home following a battle with cancer. Cremation will be done with a visitation to be held 12PM to 3PM on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Runge Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the Bettendorf VFW #9128. Patricia was born February 28, 1932 in Davenport, IA to William & Anne (Schneider) Chrissinger. She had been employed for several years with Eagle Signal from where she retired in the mid-seventies.
Patricia was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Bettendorf VFW #9128 Auxiliary. She loved to relax and fish on the river and had traveled earlier in life.
Survivors include 2 daughters Lori (Mike) Bromwell, Davenport, Joy Lynda (JR) Tinnian, St. Petersburg, FL; 2 sons Dik (Linda) Benisch, MO, and Eric Benisch, Davenport; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 sisters Rose (Ken) Bachelder, Helen (Jack) Randall, Carolyn Swanson, and Mary ( Dennis) Kraklio; and several nieces & nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter.
