Patricia “Patty” J. Knaack, 69, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, March 4th, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospitals with her loving family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday, March 8th at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials in Patty’s name may be made to the American Heart Foundation, the Iowa Lions Eye Bank or to the Donor Network.
Patty was born in 1948 in Davenport, IA to Julius and Alice Stout. She graduated from Davenport Central High School. Patty was united in marriage to William “Bob” Knaack on June 25, 1966 in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death May 11, 2004. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her three children: Wendy (fiance’ Steven) Benge, Jeff (Jaclyn) Knaack, and Brian (fiancee’ Yvette) Knaack; grandchildren: Virginia, Tyler, Amanda, Darian and Joey; great-grandchildren Hailey, Hunter, and Mercades; her sister Judith Ellis; her life partner Alan Gibson; and Lily her Chihuahua. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother Eugene.
