Patricia Lee Lorfeld

Patricia L. Lorfeld, age 89, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Fountains Bettendorf. Patricia Lee Lorfeld was born December 18, 1936, in Davenport, IA, to William and Getrude (Ballard) Scannell.

Pat was united in marriage to Charles Lorfeld on April 22, 1957. He preceded Pat in death in 1996.

With steady dedication and pride in a life built through hard work, Pat owned and operated Bowlmor Lanes in Davenport alongside her husband, Chuck, for more than 40 years. Beyond her years of business leadership, Pat found joy in traveling—especially with her bowling team and cousins—spending time at the family cabin, and sharing good food and wine. A gifted cook who valued the pleasure of gathering and learning, Pat also taught several culinary classes.

Pat is survived by two sons, Lance (Valerie) Lorfeld and Trent (Susan) Lorfeld; grandchildren Sydney (Robert) Mezs, Chase (Karine) Lorfeld, Molly Lorfeld, Chase (Emily) Whitsell, Clark (Erin) Whitsell, and Allie Lorfeld; great-grandchildren Emma, Oliver, Carson, and Blake; and a brother, Mike Scannell.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Chuck.

Cremation will be done, with private services to be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the Fountains for the loving care they provided.
