Patsy was born on July 19, 1940 in Davenport Iowa to John Henry Hayne and Martha
Bessie Hayne (Dettman). She graduated from Davenport High School in 1958. She married Larry Lovewell on February 6, 1960.
She enjoyed going on walks, playing Yahtzee, Uno, and Dominoes with her grandchildren. She would say she wanted to play "I win". She always had a jigsaw puzzle on her card table that she was working on and loved to see how many pieces her grandkids would find. She also loved to watch the Iowa State Cyclones and Chicago Cubs games! She liked to bowl and was in a couple of leagues, one with the ladies and one with her son, Jeff. She loved to watch Jeff bowl his perfect games. She enjoyed working at Joebgen's Shoes, and made life-long friends while working there. She loved her church, and the ladies she met there while working in the office for several years. Her faith was very important to her.
Those left to cherish Patsy’s memory are her daughter, Tricia Lovewell, sons Jeffrey Lovewell and Brian (Kari Riley) Lovewell, her brother John Hayne, brother-in-law and wife, Jerry and Betty Lovewell, her grandchildren Andrew (Casey) Lovewell, Jordan (Amanda) Nevitt, Kyle (Elise) Nevitt, Kacy (Jayden Day) Nevitt, great grandchildren Blakely, Collins, and Hunter Lovewell, and MiKayla Curtis, along with many great grand pups, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lovewell, parents, John H Hayne and Martha B Hayne (Dettman), mother and father-in-law Clarence and Florence Lovewell (Luethye), sister Delores Carman, sisters and brothers-in-law Loretta and Ben Beitel, Dorothy and Jerry McVey, Myrna and Jack Horton, sister-in-law Linda (Lovewell) Doll, brother-in-law and wife, Jim and Nelda Lovewell, brothers-in-law Clarence "Bud" Lovewell Jr. and John Lovewell, nieces Misi Kwinski (Hayne) and Cyndi Beitel, and nephews Steven Carman and Mark Beitel.
Patsy will be remembered for her kind and giving heart, loving her family, her infectious laugh, having a special Elvis room, being a huge Tom Selleck fan, and making the best popcorn and sandwiches. They were always better when she made them. She was truly loved and will be deeply missed!!
