Patricia "Patti" A. Fury

Visitation will be held on Friday January 31, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest in Mt Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her honor to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Patti was born November 6, 1942 to Harry and Rosemary (Willman) Price in Dubuque, IA, one of five children. She married Tom Clemens of Dubuque and together they had Connie and Cathy. Tom passed away in a tragic accident in 1969.

Patti found love again, and in 1971, married John R. “Jack” Fury, in Dubuque. Together, they raised Connie and Cathy, and added Scott and Johnny to the family. Patti was a homemaker while Jack worked at John Deere. She made sure the kids got everywhere they needed to go, the house was always spotless, and a wonderful meal was waiting every evening at 5:30 sharp. After the kids grew up and Jack retired, they enjoyed wintering in The Villages. Patti and Jack enjoyed 46 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in January, 2018.

Patti doted over her grandchildren and loved going to their events, taking them shopping and always spoiling them with a treat. She enjoyed lunch dates with her girlfriends, and cheering on the Packers.

Survivors include her children Cathy (Sean) O’Brien, Scott (Casey) Fury and Johnny (Shawna) Fury and 8 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack and daughter Connie.
