Services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Christ United Methodist Church, 2330 W 41st St. Davenport, IA 52806. Visitation will be from 11am until 12 pm with funeral services starting at noon. There will be a luncheon to follow. Memorials may be made in Patty’s name to the Alzheimer's Association and Dementia Society of America. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rungemortuary.com.
Patty was born on June 19, 1951, in Washington, Missouri, to Dennis and Lucille (Farmer) Backs. On August 19, 1972, she was united in marriage to Stephen M. Lynn.
Patty enjoyed reading, traveling, photography, and time with family. She had Masters in librarian and a paraprofessional degree.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Lynn, daughter, Stephanie Baumgartner, and son, Dennis Lynn.
