I first met Pat in the early 70's when doing some volunteer work at the library, and saw her regularly there over the next 50 years. She always had a smile and a story to share. Never a shhh.

I am so sad to see this. I would take my boys to the library downtown years ago and she was the librarian in the children's section. We would talk and share stories. She was such a lovely person.

Pat was definitely a library 'treasure'. I remember her for nearly all of her 41 years there during visits that I made to the library with my two children, now in their 50's. It was always a pleasure seeing her there on my own library visits even after my children were gone from home. I always enjoyed hearing about her son. She was so proud of him.
