Paul was born February 28, 1947, to Albert & Betty (Gibbons) Bowe. He was united in marriage to Ellie Henry on September 24, 1981, in Rock Island, IL.

Paul volunteered with the Quad City Greyhound adoption, the John Deere Classic for 40 years, the Bix race, was a chain man at Brady Street Stadium for football and was active in the Davenport North High Booster program. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, wrestling and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Paul is survived by his wife Ellie; 2 sons Matt (Lyn) Fowler Wilton, IA and Mark Fowler, Davenport, IA; grandchildren Tylor (Ally) Fowler, Tyler (Lindsey) Geiger, Brett Fowler & Amanda (Troy) Hetzler; 1 great grandchild Bodhi Hetzler; brother Bob (Mary) Bowe, Naples , Fl; sister Linda Houck Hot Springs Village, AK; and brother & sister in law Tom (Sheryl) Henry Fond du Lac, WI.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Hazel Bowe and brother-in-law Allyn Houck.
