Pauline Joann Blocker was born December 12, 1933, the daughter of Charles and Minnie (Druhl) Blocker in Davenport. She met her honey in June 1950, and she was united in marriage to him, Dwayne (Whitey) Timmerman, September 2, 1950.
Pauline worked at Woolworths and Riefes in her younger years, followed by Wonder Bread Bakery then International Harvester until 1974.
Pauline's greatest pleasure was having her family around. She and her honey prepared family dinner every Sunday for the last 30 years for all the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and honey did all of the cooking and clean up. It is amazing to think they cooked and cleaned up after the entire family 1560 times.
Pauline is survived by her devoted and loving husband Dwayne (Whitey) Timmerman; sons Ronald (Donna), Roger (Liz Midey), Rory (Kim), and Randy (Sandra), and daughter Renae (Robert) Meyer all of Davenport; daughter-in-law Christine Timmerman of Blue Grass; grandchildren Crystal Ramaker, Jamie Coppess, Josh and Jena Timmerman, Andrew Martin, Emily Keag, Alisha Timmerman, Cooper and Lexis Timmerman, Katie Corbin, Kyle, Kerry and Kurt Meyer; great grandchildren Miles, Jayden, Jackson, Hallie, Cashlyn, Brady, Jordan, Carter, and Ava; sisters Helen Ahrens and Shirley Reicks; brother Charles Blocker; and best friends Patty and John Necker, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her oldest son Robert, her parents and 4 sisters.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Mercer and his staff, Karla, Megan, Peg and Corrine from Genesis Hospice.
