Peggy A. Price, 80, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 in Moline. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11am at Weerts Funeral Home; visitation will begin at 9am and go until time of service. Memorials in Peggy’s memory may be made to First Southern Baptist Church of Colona, IL.
Peggy was born on December 13, 1941 to Frank and Edith Cole in Hopkinton, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Gene Price on January 26, 1960. Peggy was an active member with the First Southern Baptist Church in Colona, Illinois. She was very talented at crochet and even took 1st place at the Mississippi Valley Fair with some of her projects. Peggy was a talented writer as well and had several poems published throughout the years. She adored all of her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Those left to honor her memory are her children: Laurie Mack (Mark Uitermarkt), Gene (Rita) Price, Jr., Nancy (Scot) Reimers, and Michael (Jennifer) Price; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; siblings Sandy Jensen, Kathy Rappel, Wendy Sundberg, Steven Cole, and Dennis Cole; along with many nieces and nephews and friend Donna Herron. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Gene Price, son-in-law David Mack, brothers Darrel and Donald Cole, and her parents.
